Adrienne E. Edgren, DO, is a highly skilled and compassionate internal medicine specialist based in Traverse City, Michigan. Her journey in medicine began with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and she subsequently completed a traditional osteopathic internship and an internal medicine residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Driven by a passion for learning and continuous improvement, she obtained board certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Edgren's dedication to her field extends beyond patient care, as she actively contributes to medical education. She serves as Associate Faculty at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she acts as a clinical preceptor for medical students, Family Practice Residents, and Nurse Practitioner students during their internal medicine rotations.

Throughout her career, Dr. Edgren has been involved in various research projects, including evaluating and modifying glycemic control protocols and insulin treatment in hospitalized patients. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Edgren is deeply engaged in community service. She serves as a Medical Consultant for Traverse Children's House Montessori School, playing a pivotal role in developing the school's illness policy to ensure a safe environment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, she serves as a board member and Treasurer for the Grand Traverse Ski Club, actively contributing to the advancement of club programs and safety policies.
